No excavation begins until the required locate responses and clearances affecting the work have been received and remain valid. Trench access and protective measures are selected for the soil, depth, surrounding loads and project requirements.

Welch performs the excavation and related earthworks. Connections, energization, testing and certification are completed by the responsible utilities or licensed contractors.
